About You
Fully qualified accountant likely through ACA or ACCA though PQ with significant experience would be considered
Small, mid-tier, large firm or Public Sector Audit experience all considered
You understand the full Audit process from inception through to completion
About your new role
Always
Auditing a range of clients of varying sizes in numerous industries
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
Often
Supporting Managers/SMs in managing the audit process, supporting junior team members etc
Engaging with clients regularly to gather information and inform of progress/issues
Occasionally
Getting involved with other teams such as Accounts, Restructuring if required
Visiting new and existing clients to learn firsthand about their business
Never
Having an unapproachable leadership team
A dull day
