About You
Experience working as an accountant in either practice or industry
A proven ability to lead and manage teams, coaching and guiding colleagues while reporting to clients or senior stakeholders
A solid understanding of operational finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R) and financial management, including budgeting, analysis, and reporting
Strong analytical skills and commercial aptitude, with the ability to identify issues and solve complex problems
Experience in documenting and testing financial processes, with familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software
About Your New Role:
Always:
Lead and manage the operational finance team, overseeing key areas such as O2C, P2P, R2R, and general ledger accounting
Provide management accounting and financial reporting, including actuals, budgets, and rolling forecasts
Maintain financial control oversight to ensure accuracy and compliance
Be involved in period-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting
Coach and manage your team to deliver high-quality results and drive team development
Often:
Serve as a key delivery contact for clients, collaborating to meet their financial needs and expectations
Oversee and manage PwC's commercial activities for a portfolio of clients, including resourcing, budgeting, fees, and billing
Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring our solutions grow and meet their evolving requirements
Occasionally:
Take part in reviewing and improving financial processes, contributing to continuous development
Work on high-profile, challenging client projects, adapting to diverse business needs
Never:
