Tax Manager (Mixed) - Belfast - £44,000 - £48,000

You’ll join this friendly and professional tax team as one of two Managers in their well-situated Belfast office with the option for hybrid working. There is no demand for overtime outside of very busy periods. The role offers a great blend of work, Compliance and Advisory across a range of tax

issues.

About You

• CTA qualified and/or ACA qualified with significant experience in Tax

• Specific experience in Corporate Tax Compliance

• Exposure to CT Advisory, Personal tax and VAT beneficial but not essential

About your new role

Always

• Delivering Tax Compliance services to a variety of companies primarily in the local market

• Aiding the Director in managing junior team members, delegating and reviewing work etc

Often

• Supporting the wider team with other areas of tax, PT, VAT, R&D etc

• Offering Tax Advisory services to clients alongside the Director

Occasionally

• Visiting clients to offer a thorough overview of their tax position

• Identifying opportunities with new of existing clients to help develop the firm’s client

• portfolio

Never

• Catching up on work on the weekends

• Brushing up the staff kitchen with one of those straw mops
