About You:
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified
Significant experience in VAT, with a strong understanding of VAT legislation and Case Law
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proven ability to build trusted client relationships
Responsibilities:
Always:
Lead VAT compliance services for clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Manage a portfolio of VAT clients, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
Take ownership of client relationships, acting as the key point of contact for clients.
Mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance and support for their development.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to business development and growth opportunities.
Often:
Work with partners and directors to develop and expand the firm’s indirect tax service offering.
Advise on tax structuring and advisory projects, delivering high-quality, tailored VAT solutions.
Contribute to the financial management of the team, meeting financial targets and reviewing performance.
Occasionally:
Engage in cross-team collaboration to identify opportunities for additional services and client engagement.
Participate in client pitches, offering insight into the full range of services and capabilities the firm offers.
Never:
Compromise on quality or accuracy in the delivery of VAT services.
