We are seeking a qualified accountant to join a dynamic organisation based in Belfast. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and providing strategic insights to drive organisational success.

About You
· Experience in financial operations and management accounting.
· Proven leadership and team management skills, with a focus on coaching and development.
· Exceptional analytical abilities to identify trends, manage risks, and deliver actionable insights.
· Proficient in ERP systems, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
About Your Role
Always
· Prepare and present accurate management accounts, including budgets and forecasts.
· Maintain financial control and deliver comprehensive financial reporting.
· Manage monthly payroll checks, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
· Coach and develop your team to achieve high performance.
Often
· Act as the key financial lead on organisational projects, ensuring alignment with objectives.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support strategic financial decision-making.
· Oversee funding claims, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timely drawdown of funds.
· Participate in reviewing and enhancing financial processes.
Occasionally
· Deputise for the Head of Finance, making critical decisions to maintain financial continuity.
· Engage with external auditors, providing documentation and insights during audits.
· Lead migration to new systems, such as payroll software, ensuring smooth implementation.
Never
